Online Donations

The Islamic Center of Greater Austin organization is entrusted to manage and maintain two Austin mosques – one at  5110 Manor Rd., and the second at 1906 Nueces St. (near UT campus and downtown).   Both of these Masaajid are owned and under the trust of NAIT (or the North American Islamic Trust) – an Islamic Trust or “Waqf”.    After the aid of Allah (swt), the maintenance and operations of these Masaajid are achieved through lots of volunteer efforts, dedication, and the generous donations of Muslims brothers and sisters, such as yourself.   Your monetary charity are much needed and will contribute to the operations, improvements and development of these beautiful and much needed  places of worship, Islamic educations, and social gatherings (click here to see pictures).   

 Your donations are considered as a “sadaqah Jaariah” charity– meaning, it is continuously-rewarding and continues to earn rewards for its giver for as long as the Masaajid continue to benefit others.   Your donations are also tax-deductible, as we are a non-profit organization.

The Messenger of Allah said: “When a person dies, all of  his good  deeds stop except for three: transferred knowledge which continues to benefit others, “sadaqah jaariah” charity, and  a righteous son/daughter who prays for him.”

And Allah (the Almighty) said in surat-zulzilat, “He who contributes an atom’s weight of good deed will see it ( on the Day of Judgment)”.   

Also know that Allah (swt) has promised us (through the words of His prophet, ) that giving sadaqah does NOT reduce your material wealth, as the prophet said: "wealth will not be reduced due to sadaqah - charitable giving".

We humbly ask that you consider continuous support of our Islamic centers which operate solely through the generous donations of brothers/sisters like yourself.
