On behalf of the Islamic Center of Greater Austin we would like to wish you and your families Eid Mubarak! May Allah SWT make this Eid-al-Adha a special and blessed Eid; Ameen.


Eid-ul-Adha Prayer Details

Date: Monday, Dec 8, 2008
Time: 8:30am Takbeer
9:00am Prayers
Place: Crocket Center

Based on the announcement from Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Monday, Dec 8, 2008. ICGA believes that the unity of Austin Muslim community is the highest goal for us and is an obligation (Faridha) upon us. Therefore ICGA will join the Eid prayers with other members of the community in a single location. We have decided against the option of holding our own Eid prayers in a separate location on the same day.

NAMCC Executive Committee has reserved the Crocket Center and is making all the arrangements for the Eid prayers. While ICGA is not involved in organizing the event, we strongly encourage our members to volunteer fi-sabilillah to help in the noble cause of setting up the prayer hall.

NAMCC is calling for volunteers to meet on Sunday, Dec 7th after Asr at the Crockett Center. Please contact NAMCC EC at ec@namcc.org (or call 512-762-7511) if you have any questions.
